HELLO, a bit about me

 

Having focused the majority of the past decade, both as an educator and a practitioner in the pharmaceutical industry, I have gained a broad and thorough knowledge of full drug development and manufacturing process. I have developed sophisticated analytical skills and the leadership capabilities necessary to address the growing drug development concerns facing companies today. I am a skilled PhD organic chemist with strong business acumen and years of practice in drug discovery, R&D, process development, operations & project management in the Pharmaceutical Industry. I have multiple years of experience in business analysis including management, strategic planning, and managing both research and business aspects of CRO/CMO business. Excellent in translating complex scientific concepts into engaging stories that resonate with the audience. Proficient in collaborating with clients, pharma, biotech, and CRO/CMO to promote collaboration from initial scientific discussion to project grant proposal and provide guidance to their successful conclusion. ​​

 

I am interested in life and physical sciences research that is profoundly impacting medical technologies and therapies, energy production and sustainability, and bioremediation. From cancer therapies and antibody engineering to engineered biofuels, I work with University and Government labs to license technologies to develop and bring to market (Academic Technology Ventures). The objective is to connect lab inventions with the marketplace to create a better world.

 

In addition, I have an affinity for teaching; tutored college level student in chemistry; bringing creativity, innovation, and industrial experiences into lesson plans and classroom.
